Spuds

We meet in homes each week,
much like the members of the first century church did.

There are two Spuds in the Tulsa Boiler Room -- a church of churches. The content can vary from Spud to Spud, and from week to week, but there are some typical elements we typically include.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper as a central part of our gatherings. This is the Eucharist, or Communion, as well as a shared meal together. We really like to eat together, and feel that it helps us to live out the reality of family. Plus we like to eat. Doing this as a part of the Lord's Supper centers us in the Gospel, and reminds us that it is the presence of Christ among us that makes the gathering special. We also typically worship, discuss the Word, and pray for one another. Sometimes we simply chill out over conversation or games. We intentionally make room for each person to express the gifts given to them from the Lord, and believe that each one has something vital for the rest of us.

Visitors are welcome in our spuds. If you'd like to try it out, contact one of the folks listed below.
Feel free to try them all, as they each have their own flavor.
